Yes you can, but remember that when you deliver a speech, you are talking directly to human beings and not robots. Speeches are written by people - to be delivered to people, and understanding just who those people are is the most crucial part of any speechwriters job. AI is an incredible (and scary) development that does incredible and scary things, but it doesn't have the human touch, and that is an essential part of the deal.
Professional speechwriters work hard to understand the messages that need to be delivered, and match them with an understanding of what the audience needs to hear. A computer does a wonderful job of producing the words, but that is only a small part of the process.
I am sure that the time will come when AI runs our contact centres, organises our government, manages our health systems and generally takes over our lives. However, thankfully, that time isn't now and humble speech writers such as myself are able to help produce the right solution to the challenges ahead. Long may that last!
